Gradient-Guided Neural AI Evasion
PHANTOM™ is our proprietary gradient-guided neural optimization engine. It analyzes which surface-level linguistic features cause AI detectors to flag text, then applies minimal targeted transformations to reduce detection probability — without degrading meaning or readability.
How It Works
Detection Feature Analysis
PHANTOM™ first identifies which of 12 neural features (entropy, burstiness, n-gram patterns, stylometry, etc.) are most flagged by GPTZero, Turnitin and Copyleaks.
Gradient-Guided Targeting
Using a sigmoidal calibration function, it calculates the minimal change vector for each sentence — prioritizing edits that have the highest AI-score reduction per word changed.
Micro-Perturbation
Applies sub-word perturbations: synonym substitution, punctuation rhythm adjustment, connector deletion, burstiness injection and sentence-opening diversification.
Score Verification Loop
After each transformation pass, the AI score is re-evaluated. PHANTOM™ continues until the target score (default: < 0.15) is reached or the change budget is exhausted.
